A how to guide for IQ5 widget customization.
After you create a notification, navigate to:
Display
Display Duration: Set to -1
Display Position: Set to Embed
Div ID: Copy and paste in the location in which you’d like the notification with ad(s) to appear.
Display Close Button: Off
Ad Code
Ad Code (Left): Paste the ad code that will appear to the left of the notification.
Ad Code (Right): Paste the ad code that will appear to the right of the notification.
Notes: Choose if you’d like an ad to the left, to the right or both. Fixed 300×250 Adsense or Google Ad Manager (GPT) tags supported.

Go to your campaign and click on “Create notification“.
Basics
Title Message
Give your notification a Title by typing in field provided.
Choose which Emotion or emotions or choose all:
- Show Angry
- Show Sad
- Show Neutral
- Show Happy
- Show Excited
Triggers
You can leave Trigger on all pages to ON which will show the notification on all of the pages of your website. If you turn it to OFF then you can customize a specific page or pages.
When the trigger is set to OFF you have the option from the drop-down menu under:
Display Trigger
- Delay – At what time do you want the notification to start showing to engage the visitor that has entered your site. This starts in seconds and you can type a number or use the scroll arrows to set that time.
- Exit Intent – If the visitor goes to exit your site by closing the browser you can have the notification display to give them a special message or deal for your product or service.
- Scroll Percentage – If the person scrolls down the page, you have the option to set the notification to show starting at 5% and up of the scroll bar.
- Display notification once per session – You have the option for ON or OFF -A visitor session is cleared once the browser is closed.
- Display on small screens – You have the option for ON or OFF – Whether or not to display the notification on when pixels available are smaller than 768px.

If you are an Enterprise member you will have your branding (website URL) on the notifications. If you are not an Enterprise member the notification will display our branding (website URL) You have the option to turn this ON or OFF if you have a paid plan.
Customize
You can make changes to the color of the title, description, background, button, and button wording all by just clicking on the color bars and choose the color, and click save. The colors will instantly change.
Border Radius
You can choose from the drop down:
- Straight
- Rounded
- Round
Border Width
Value from 0 to 5 for the border width of the notification.
Border Color
You can change the border color if you chose to have one by clicking on the color bar, choose the color, and click save.
Display Shadow
This is a drop shadow around the notification that shows prominently when the notification background is white.
You can Enable or disable the shadow around the edges of the notification.
Entrance Animation
How do you want the notification to enter on your site?
Choose from the drop-down menu:
- Fade In
- Slide In Up
- Slide In Down
- Zoom In
- Bounce In
Exit Animation
How do you want the notification to exit the site?
Choose from the drop-down menu:
- Fade Out
- Slide Out Up

Go to your campaign and click on “Create notification“. And click on “Request Collector“.
Basics
Title Message
Give your notification a Title by typing in field provided.
Description Message
Give your notification a Description Message by typing in field provided.
Image URL
Leave empty for no image. Hint: iconfinder has a good library of small icons that you can use and it is free.
Content Title
The title of your request, i.e., How May I Help You?
Input Placeholder
How will you contact them, i.e., by phone or email?
Button Text
What is your action for the button, i.e., Sign me up?
Show Agreement
There is an ON or OFF button. Do you want to display a members agreement/privacy policy for your visitors? This also depends on where you live so check obligations in your country. Safest way is to display.
Require the user to confirm his agreement by ticking a checkbox.
This is the small box that the visitor has to check for the members agreement/privacy policy. You should also check regulations for your country.
Agreement Text
What do you want the text to read, i.e., I read & agree the Privacy Policy?
Agreement URL
The URL for the agreement once the visitor checks the box to agree.

Send caught data to external sources – This is an ON/OFF button
Webhook
A webbook is set up to capture the date for this notification, the email address. How do you want to capture it? The webbook will have the info sent directly to your email provider.
Go to your campaign and click on “Create notification“.

- You can use what we provide by keeping the same link in there.
- Leave empty for no image.
- You can use an image hosted on your website.
- You can use and icon service like icons8.com which has a good library of small icons that you can use and it is free.
Coupon Code
You can place a coupon code here if you wish and you can customize this to your business.
Button URL
Where do you want the visitor to go once, they click on the button?
Button Text
The wording on the button can be customized to your liking.
Footer Text
This is used if the visitor does not want to use the coupon code. Example – No, I’m not interested.
Notification URL
The URL you want to user to go to after clicking the notification. Leave empty for no link.

Webhook
A webhook is set up to capture the date for this notification, the email address. How do you want to capture it? The webhook will have the info sent directly to your email provider.
Leave empty to disable this field. If you are not going to use a webhook.
Auto Capture Data
Setting the Auto Capture option will try to automatically detect when a form has been submitted and record that data for you. (Password fields will never be captured) You can use the url from a form from a landing page or a signup page on your account.
Go to your campaign and click on “Create notification“.

If you are using a YouTube video it must be the embed url from the embed code which you find under the “share” section. If you do not use the embed url the video will not show.

If you are receiving testimonials/reviews from your customers you want to be able to have them show on your site.
First click on the Data Section
Then click on the green button IMPORT DATA
A from will pop up for you to put the:
- Name
- Text of the Review
- Image URL – The image must be hosted
- Choose how many stars your customer gave you. (You can choose up to 5 stars)
Then just click the green button SUBMIT
Notifications, popups, ads – they can annoy your customers really quick.
Here are several settings you can change in order to make your notifications non-intrusive and appealing.
- Delay between notifications – this option can be found under Notifications and can be used to add a delay of XX seconds between notifications. This way you can lower the frequency of your notifications.
- Show once per session – this option will make sure your visitor sees your notification only once per session, and not on every page load.
- Maximum number of conversions to show – use this to define how many notifications events to show. We show 10 by default but you can lower this number to show less notifications, in case you have other active notification types as well.
